Wall Coverings
Ezra & Vidya designs are thoughtfully created by Robin Ann Meyer and printed directly in her studio using sustainable, water-based, non-toxic latex inks, reflecting a deep commitment to the environment. We print on high-quality non-woven paper for our pasted wallcoverings. To ensure flawless installation, we recently added an imported Italian cutter to our studio, providing clients with perfect butt-joint seams cut with millimeter-level accuracy.

Ezra & Vidya offers unparalleled customization capabilities thanks to the flexibility of digital printing and the unique advantage of working directly with the maker. Robin provides nearly endless possibilities for color matching and scale adjustments to perfectly suit your specific project needs. Using the same commitment as her wall coverings our fabrics are printed directly in the studio using sustainable, water-based, non-toxic latex inks, reflecting a deep commitment to the environment. We proudly print on all-natural fibers by the yard, providing exquisite textiles perfectly suited for window treaments, pillows, upholstery, and all your interior design needs.

Ezra & Vidya is a curated collection of bespoke wall artistry and textiles created by Robin Ann Meyer as a tribute to her two children. Inspired by the breathtaking serenity of watching Ezra and Vidya sleep, this collection is designed to evoke deep tranquility. The motifs are drawn directly from nature, utilizing a thoughtful palette curated to cultivate peaceful, calming environments. To add a layer of sophisticated luxury, select pieces feature exquisite hand-detailing in metallic gold, silver, and pearl.
meet robin ann
Founder Robin Ann Meyer believes that thoughtfully designed wall coverings possess the power to transform houses into homes, creating spaces where we linger and forge our best memories. Drawing deep inspiration from the shapes found in nature and the architectural details observed during her global travels and within her own Midwest home, Robin’s aesthetic is both worldly and grounded. With an academic background in design and fine art from institutions in Cornwall, UK, and Madrid, Spain, and experience in the NYC textile industry, she brings a sophisticated eye to every pattern. Operating out of her Northeast Minneapolis art studio since 2017, Robin produces each piece with profound love and intention. Her design process is intimately influenced by her growing family, driven by a desire to create a meaningful, beautiful backdrop for her husband and two children.

Wall Preparation

Fill in any holes with vinyl spackling compound

Allow time to dry and sand smooth

Wash walls with an all purpose cleaner

Prep walls with a one-step acrylic primer/sealer
Textured Wall Options:

Use a broad knife to spread joint compound to desired smoothness

Let dry, clean and prime as instructed above

Sand to desired smoothness then clean and prime as instructed above3. Prepare walls as instructed above. Hang lining paper with a heavy duty adhesive

Prime walls again with a one-step acrylic primer/sealer
Installation
-
Start with a dry smooth, clean white wall (see ‘Wall Preparation’ for more details)

Gather supplies - measuring tape or ruler, cutting tool, pencil, leveler, wallpaper adhesive paste, adhesive tray, adhesive roller or applicator, wallpaper smoother. (We recommend the use of Pro Clear 880 pastes or similar solvent free products. Solvent based or dispersion pastes can result in the removal of inks)

Measure the paper width, mark that distance on the wall, and draw your 'plumb' line from that using the leveler. Double check your plumb line width all the way down. ALL future panels line up from this line

Lay two wallcovering panels out on floor to match the pattern

Apply solvent free wallpaper paste to the wall

Hang the first panel, using the plumb line for guidance and your smoothing tool to push out air bubbles

Repeat with other panels until desired area is covered. (You can move and adjust paper if needed for corrections)

Use a damp cloth to remove any excess wallcovering paste from the wallcovering

Use the cutting tool to cut excess wallcovering from around window edges, molding, electrical sockets etc.

Since all our wallcoverings are custom-made, we do not accept returns or exchanges. However, your satisfaction is important to us.
Defective Products
If you believe your product is defective, please contact us within 30 of receiving your order. We will work with you to resolve the issue and come to a mutual understanding.
